Technical Information: This is a new OO, with Bearclaw Spruce top, Zircote back and sides, Rosewood binding with herringbone purfling. Gold pearl torch on the headstock and mother of pearl snowflakes on the fretboard, 3-piece Walnut neck, Ebony overlay, Zircote fingerboard, African Blackwood bridge, Cocobolo Rosewood binding and Curly Maple purfling, bone pins, saddle and nut, soundport on side. Gold Gotoh tuners.
Bob Singer's Notes: If you are familiar with the sound of Rosewood - that's the sound of Zircote. This OO has a nice bright sound, but what sets this instrument aside from so many others is that it has a lot of overtones and a beautiful complex sound. I've owned and/or sold more of John's guitars than probably anybody and this guitar is one of the top guitars he's sent me.This is a small guitar with a big beautiful sound!
